UnBox’D-Arts Mission Statement

This is a ministry, which actively works to see:

Young people use their time constructively,

Also to inspire and encourage creative minds to work productively,

To teach and build those creative minds,

But more importantly making certain that in their lives Jesus’ light shines.

To support new and small businesses is also part of the quest,

To create networking, open doors and eventually – invest!

This is where a life of unpredictability starts,

As you enter into the realm of UnBox’D Arts.

A life with no limits, with nothing to prove so there’s no gimmicks,

Being uniquely you so there are no mimics,

And this is a life lived by faith so there’s no room for cynics.

Now let’s take note, as from the founder herself I derive this quote:

‘Faith is going against all odds, reaching beyond your own physical limitations, thinking beyond your intellectual boundaries and aiming to achieve above and beyond any local, national and worldwide statistics say you should.’

… Got that? Good!

So ready or not it’s time to be gallant,

As we work to unbox all this flat-packed talent.

And as far as living that UnBox’D life goes, this is what we perceive…

The truth is we have goals that we all say we want to achieve,

But I have one question that is key,

Are you prepared to live a life of vulnerability and forfeit your own stability?

You see,

Inside the box we have predictable possibilities, using natural facilities,

Living in your comfort zone and relying on your own abilities.

But do you know your gifts and talents aren’t for you they’re for the world’s service?

You may be holding on to something someone else needs because you’re too selfish, lazy or nervous.

Whereas living UnBox’D, means you walk through the doors that God unlocks;

As it’s not about what you can do, but seeing what God can do through you!

It requires carrying out commands even when the full plan is untold,

And not timidly, but bold,

Without fully understanding, still allowing yourself to be controlled,

And merely trusting that in God’s time His purpose will unfold.

Even though to you it may not always make sense, hence,

That’s why it’s called… obedience!

It calls for you to be courageous and it calls for you to be strong,

That means feeling the fear but still going on!

Standing on His Word,

Doing what you’ve been told and using what you have learned.

It’s about trusting God with all your heart,

And stepping in deep water before you see that thing part!

And this is the only way to live as far as we’re concerned,
